The People's Open Celebrates 91st Year!
Golf's most electrifying event returns to The Valley as the WM Phoenix Open takes over TPC Scottsdale from February 2 through 8, 2026. Known affectionately as The People's Open, this 91st edition promises another spectacular week of world-class golf, entertainment, and community celebration.
The tournament has assembled a star-studded field featuring World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who captured back-to-back victories in 2022 and 2023. Joining him are major champions Xander Schauffele and Viktor Hovland, along with fan favorites Rickie Fowler, two-time tournament winner Hideki Matsuyama, and Tony Finau.
Fans will notice exciting upgrades at the legendary 16th Hole Coliseum, including expanded bays, higher ceilings, frameless glass railings for better views, and the debut of the Pin Hi Club hospitality venue. The redesign emphasizes sustainability with reusable construction elements.
Ford Free Days return on Monday and Tuesday, offering complimentary admission courtesy of Arizona Ford Dealers. The Annexus Pro-Am on February 4 pairs PGA Tour professionals with celebrity guests for a preview of the main competition.
Entertainment extends beyond the fairways with the Coors Light Birds Nest concert series featuring Bailey Zimmerman, Zach Top, and a Friday night lineup of Nelly, Ludacris, and Ja Rule. The Killers perform at the Concert in the Coliseum on January 31.
The tournament continues its legacy of giving back, having raised more than $226 million for Arizona nonprofits through Thunderbirds Charities. The 2025 event set a record with $18.1 million donated to local organizations.
With attendance typically reaching 700,000 to 800,000 fans across the week, the WM Phoenix Open remains the largest and most attended event on the PGA Tour.
